"You know you aren't going to win," Lex muttered, a pen clenched between his teeth as he tapped at the keyboard. The lab around him was mostly empty, the few technicians still there at 10:00 at night knowing to keep their distance. "Because when I find you, I'll destroy you, and I'll make it hurt."
Trash talking a computer virus didn't really serve a purpose; Lex was willing to admit that. Especially considering he didn't even have the microphone enabled. But it made him feel better, and that was what mattered. He paused, took the pen out of his mouth, scribbled a few notes on a notepad sitting by him, and went back to typing.
"Hey, Lex!"
The cheerful greeting made him jump in alarm, and he swiveled around to stare at Kitty.
"What have I told you about coming down here?"
