All I can say is that I'm sorry. I wish it could have been otherwise. I would have liked to remain friends, and still I extend a friendly hand. I don't expect it to be taken, but there it is. I received word this afternoon that my Grandfather passed away last night. My father says that he died in his sleep. The funeral will be on Thursday morning.

I don't know quite what to say. I'll miss him. I'm glad that I got to talk to him this weekend on the phone.

Got a phone call last night, "Come to Bay City, your grandfather has taken a turn for the worse." I didn't even know he was sick.

Drove to Bay City today, he's in ICU with pneumonia. They are going to take him off of all the machines on Monday. He probably won't pull through.

I wish I could be numb about this. It would hurt less.

Dedduncan's grandfather passed away last night. Everyone is kinda low right now, and I'm feeling the effects. I feel so powerless to do anything right now, and it bugs me. I want to be a comfort to everyone, and I feel like I'm failing miserably.
