Doris and I have arrived safely in NJ, after a treacherous drive through a MAJOR thunderstorm! However, before the weather took a turn for the worst, we had an experience that is SHOCKING, DISTURBING, and/or a little hilarious.

Today was another awesome day (despite the rain!). We had another wonderful "breakfast smorgasbord" prepared by Amy! Then, Doris and I departed for the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History (we were very very excited!). Doris and I are having a great time in DC! We rode down on Wednesday, and the drive was excellent. The only "bump in the road" was being lost in Elkton, MD trying to find the way to get into a Cracker Barrel! We ended up being lost in Elkton for about an hour. So, I have spent the past week here in New Jersey, visiting my folks and Doris. :) It's February break for the schoolchildren, so I didn't have any student teaching this week.
