I'm officially nuts.

It was a whim. I thought, Hm, this might be a good exercise in getting me to write, period. I have an insanely hard time just getting the words onto the computer, because I nitpick and want every word to be the right one. That's no way to be productive, really.
So while I mentally freak out over this, I'm going to go to the library and pick up a couple of books that I want, go to Michael's and get some kind of laurel leaves for my Halloween hairdo (Roman Empress, and sadly not of this sort!), and leave you with this clip of Gail Collins on the Colbert Report:
