i saw ok go tonight. they were freaking amazing. their openers were not really my thing ( the booze's lead singer was a leprechaun, i swear, and earl grayham was the band of the neverending songs. they only played like five songs, but it took forty minutes because the songs went on for freaking ever.

so, world. andy mrotek, or the butcher, has a solo project. it's called the animal upstairs, and he's put out an EP recently called is anybody upstairs. you can download it for free here. it sounds... i don't actually know how to describe it, but i'll try.
