Hey

Being that alot of people read my LJ as a means of keeping up with me, I would first like to apoligize for being socially unavailable for this time thus far. My cell phone is currently shut off, but will be back on soon. I am taking care of school and about to start this training at this new job. I am also taking care of the things I've always wanted to take care of but never had the time to; reading the Origin Of Species, messing with linux and other computer things, catching up on some music, playing the video games that I got for xmas that I never got to beat, and most of all fix things up with Ceejay. So;

-I've come to the conclusion that there are only specific parts of the Origin Of Species that are important to read in order to grasp Natural Selection. Well....the chapter titled "natural Selection" explains it all. All in all, there are only like 4 or 5 chapters in that book that are imperative to read to understand Darwin.

-Linux; I'm sure it's a hot operating system, but as of now I'm having massive amounts of trouble just DLing the damn thing. My cable connection is acting really stupid right about now. It's no more than like 100 kb/second, Even if I do DL a distribution of Linux, I can never get the right one, or I don't know how to burn it the right way because i don't know much about ISOs, or if I do burn it i can't get it to run when the computer reboots before the reboot goes to the C drive. But besides that, i've DL'd some cool trojans, AIM tools, and I'm reading a little on hacking, cracking, and programming. Not that I can apply any of that, but it's just good extra information to know.

-Music is pretty much self explanatory.

-I tried to beat Fatal Frame 3, and that game is just not as good as the second one. As far as I am concerned,the second one is the best one, BY FAR. Speaking of which, all of the ranting i've ever done about popular survival horror games means nothing because for some strange reason, I miss resident evil. I actually don't know why I hated it so much. Maybe it was just the anarchist in me. But it WAS concise, whereas fatal frame 3, and even 2 and 1, are extremely linear. You know how in RE's, if you know the games storyline you can skip parts to beat it faster or whatever? You cannot do that in FF3. If you don't walk past a certain room, hide from a certain ghost, or take a picture of a meaningless door, you won't progress and that really sux because the premise of the game is really hot and super scary. So...... after I slap myself for being a hypocrite, I'm going to get into RE's again. Ceejay is going to be my little helper minion, and :gasp:....I'm even going to give the Silent Hill's a try. What would be after that? I guess Fatal Frames, in which I have all three of them. I'm just really dissapointed in Tecmo and their lack of widening the storyline. Without a strategy guide, its pretty much;
*Walk into room
*Walk around room and hit x to see if you can find anything
*Leave room
*Repeat
DDR and ITG and all that has been kept at a prtty far distance, despite the fact that I debate on the NY forums on DDR freak. I'm excited about Supernova, and am probably the only person on the planet that thinks that Chaos was a really cool, new, and innovative idea. Simply put, no one will be able to do it for a while so until they are able to do it, they'll hate it. i'll have fun with Supernova. And now, I can comfortably play ITG like I play pump. I really, really hope that people start accepting that ITG and DDR are two different games like PIU is different from the other two. I mean, you don't hear ITG players complaining to adamiro to make such and such because ITG has it already. PIU is it's own Genre, and now maybe ITG players can realize that they have their own genre separate from DDR. Different timing window, different music, different step patterns, DIFFERENT GAME. I'm excited about SN though. Every one of you NY muthufuckuhs know that I'll have a new batch of edits come summer. Wait til you see what I do to AA and Chaos once i get my hands on them. And I'll be playing Bemani Ruler G2 no bar 1x with David in CI all summer, thanks very much. =) But... yea, dancing games are kept at distance. I haven't played in a long time. The only thing i've been porring my heart into in terms of music games was dance trax. I've been putting lots of time and effort into judging and rating. Man....I am really proud of the work i've been putting into that games Judging dept. I think the finished product will be awsome. I never knew how much work people had to put into rating songs. And DDR only has 10 ratings, while ITG only has 13. I'm working with 100 ratings! Pretty awesome.

-Me and ceejay had a major fight last week, and we almost broke up. So the next two weeks, we are patching things up. I took her on a date and pretended like it was a first date. It was pretty fun.

In any event, I'm going to be available two weekends from now pending that I don't work. You can call me, but I'll DEFINATELY be calling most of you. I think I'm going to buy an unlimited friday and saturday and make rounds around the city, or something in that effect. Play some DDR and a little ITG, hit up my Tekken 5 card at CF, eat out here and there, and just enjoy stuff. But I'll be alot stricter now that I am really cool with things in my life.

Once again, NYC DDR players; Let this be OUR summer. Like it was a few years back when we only matttered, because honestly, that was the best way. And out of all people, I LOVE more than anyone when out of state people come to play in NY and chill with us, but if you think about it thats where most of our problems came from. Not that I dislike out of state people, but this summer let this be ours.

ATTENTION PEOPLE THAT ARE LOOKING FOR A JOB; Dave & Busters is going to resume hiring again starting APRIL 10TH, SO anyone that is looking, please go there and apply.

Lateryawll.

Anthony
