Yet more Kimura Takuya + SMAP pimps because these guys are amazing:

Okay, Consider my ovaries exploded. Because who wouldn't if they see SMAP taking care of a baby? I don't even LIKE kids, but this. Screaming cute all over it. Takuya would be the bestest daddy ever. And Nakai, probably the worse. I just about DIED watching Takuya pose the baby into the motions of the parapara dance. Not sure if it's actually his kid or not, but Takuya's parenting skills are magic. And haha Nakai's 'brilliant' solution of barricading it behind their bags when he has to do other things, he is so hilarious irresponsible. *flail*. This is ridiculously cute. Part2 and Part3 where Goro owns my heart for being such a claming presence the baby goes asleep the minte he's in his arms. Wai.

And for arlo_arleh who apparantly has never seen any of Takuya's acting efforts, you can find the HERO TV special here and the rest of the parts Here. I like watching on you tube rather than download since I waste less bandwidth. It's subtitled. From what I gathered, this is actually a OVA of the television series HERO, wherein Takuya goes from being a streetpunk/fighter to a prosecutor (someone who charges and investigates the truth of a criminal's crimes). The special is self contained, and does the usual Japanese OVA format, displace the main character into a rural town and have them solve their problems. I liked it all the same, subtle, predictable but charming... and surprisingly Takuya's quite a fine actor with very watchablee qualities. This reminded me a of the GTO Live Action Special with basically the same plot, except this has Takuya and prosecutors. Give it a go if you're bored.

5 Things: I love about VAGABOND and why you should download it from kotszok here

1. The fact it is set immediately after Sekigahara, one of my pet historical periods in japan, second only to the Bakamatsu. Yet, it is completely different from Samurai Deeper Kyo's strange fantasy/romantic vision of the battle, or Rurouni Kenshin's version of a vagabond who is purely comedic with a side of emo. If I had to pin it, it's like the Seven Samurai's sense of honour and time frame with Fist of the North Star's crazy old school anti-heroism. But I am totally weak for this time period.

2. The DRAWING STYLE. I think I fell in love with it on the first page. It is utterly beautiful, everything is incredibly detailed and anatomically correct, the cross hatching makes me weak in the knees. It's like a wood carfting in pencil, like pages upon pages of SoulCage (my favourite Tekken fanartsite)'s work where the boys are undeniably masculine and the girls are exceptional. I love how the mangaka draws asiatic eyes, with an Asian eyelid fold, very typically asian nose (for the females) and plush lips. Also, the people who scanlated this have the best scancover ever. David Hasslehoff is the perfect introduction to this series. He is so wrong he is right.

3. The main character makes me think of Kaidou from Prince of Tennis. That is, if Kimura Takuya played him... and he was an insane sword weilding maniac (the resemblance is uncanny yo). Head cutting for all! And, NAKED FIGHTING! ... there's also another character (Gion Toji) later on that looks like Jin fron Tekken so I am TOTALLY NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MY INSTANT LOVE AFFAIR with this manga.

4. Old school storytelling, where the characters have deep personality flaws or they are just... *badass*. When the gratuitious violence starts up, I can't help but laugh.

5. The facial hair. No seriously. The moustaches in this manga is COMEDY GOLD. So period-correct, and thus, hilarious. On the other hand, it's also great to see realistic hair growth in a manga for once. (Also, the main character is oddly hot even with facial hair, this makes me perplexed and my inner-lust, confused.) The eyebrows are also WORKS OF ART.

ETA: DAMN YOU kotszok DAMN YOU TO HELL. I CANT STOP READING. I HAVE TO WORK FOR TEN HOURS TOMORROW. *shot*
