Why: A simply brilliant AU. What if Renji was the one who had traded his powers with Ichigo? He wouldn't be emoing and taking his impending execution with nothing but a bland smile is what. Even the idea of Renji being Ichigo's mentor makes me amused. I love fics that opens so many possibilities.

Okay, I admit it. tomoe_daeva has been the reigning fanartist in my heart for a while now, but I don't know why I don't pimp he/r more often considering I have a 10MB picture folder on my computer dedicated JUST for he/r works. Probably because of how fast and how good and just amazingly prolific a fanartist s/he is. But I cannot hold off any further because he/r latest comic just hits ALL of my kinks all at once like BULLET TO THE BRAIN.
