Feeling productive! I finished my first of four essays due. Sure I have a presentation due monday I haven't started on, but one thing is DOWN. I've also completed a Onepiece Drabble... which will hopefully be one of another set of drabbles, but we'll see how that works out. But I got my mojo working again, and WROTE something, so yeay. Now I'm going to go and work on that presentation.
But some flyby read-while-procrastinating recs.
HARRY POTTER:
Reclaimation by Sam Vimes
Rating: PG
Pairing: Implied RemusxSirius
Summary: What if Tom Riddle had not become Lord Voldemort, stopped his descent before it became irrevocable, and instead taught DADA at Hogwarts?
Why: Like most of Sam's works, a wonderfully intelligent and plausible AU that leaves you wanting more. If the Harry Potter series wasn't named as such, Tom Riddle would probably be the protagonist of the story, it's a nice What If exploration of how things would have turned out if the turning point that set off all of HP's events was circumvented.
FINAL FANTASY
The Random Final Fantasy VII pairing and situation generator! This might make me write some short drabbles actually.
HIKARU NO GO:
HAPPY HIKAGO DAY 5/5/06 EVERYONE! (I also want to write something, or contribute something to this this day, but alas, it is already 10 pm and anthing I start now won't be complete for the occasion.) HOWEVER:
issen4's
Hikago day fic: Nightingale Floor should definitely be read.
Why: Because that game, between Sai and Touya Kouyo, Hikaru and Touya Kouyo is what the collective consciousness has been waiting for. Startlingly riveting and lovely. Issen understands the strange excitement we get from iGo like no other author.
