Well, it looks like my instinct to keep the boy home on Saturday was a good one, because today he came out with a pretty classic viral rash, such that we are pretty sure he had roseola. OK, jury's still out but I'm leaning toward keeping him home as I just took a 100 degree axillary temp (DH says it has to be 100.4 to be a fever.) Really, I'm assuming the other babies' mamas would probably prefer I keep him home whether he's symptomatic or not. :P ( Read more... )

Edward and I discovered today that dried mangoes ("Just Mangoes" from Trader Joe's) are a lovely self-feeding snack. He can just gnaw and suck on them until they turn into mangoey slime that is then slurped up. Unfortunately, once they've been sucked on for a bit they end up sliming everything they touch. Faces.
