Second snow day for the school year. They called it really, really late this time. My alarm went off at 6 AM and I looked outside and it seemed like there was about 2 inches of snow on the ground, maybe less. So for this academic school year, we've had four snow days, two delayed openings (meaning school starts at 9:00 AM instead of 7:40 AM), and one early closing (school ended at 11:00 AM instead of 2:40 PM

Erika started pointing at things in the sky (airplanes, clouds, but mostly birds fascinated her) for about a month now, but lately she's taken a real joy at pointing at everything and smiling when we name it. So it's this parent-child behavior of *point* tree! *point* fish! *point* ball! *point* dog! And she gets a kick out of this

Winter storm arrived Tuesday night and stayed through Wednesday night. School was closed on Wednesday and Thursday. We ended up getting about 12-inches of snow
