Rainbows was cancelled tonight. The snow was just awful and it seemed silly to risk my neck driving down little country roads for it to be likely that no girls would turn up. And I didn't want to get stranded in Hudd as they've been forcast a foot of snow tonight. =S
Work wasn't too bad today, even though I just wanted to go out and make a snowman. Was a bit boring without Kat, but I was surprisingly productive, saw all of my patients, made an old lady's day by issuing her a bedleaver (she was really quite impressed that such a thing existed) and had some fun banter with the orthopaedic team. There was even time for a bit of attractive-doctor-stalking. =D I also got sent home an hour early because they were a bit concerned about my driving ability and the fact it had started to snow fairly heavily again.
Sadly, however, hospitals do not seem to have snow days. =( I am personally of the opinion that patients can go without rehab for a day, but sadly others (namely the hospital management) do not agree. Mum text at 7.30 this morning to say she had a snow day. Apparently she watched daytime TV all day with dad, who also took annual leave to avoid the snow. Hattie still had to go to school though. Hahahahaa...
I ordered Guiding Centenary goodies for me and Amy last night. We are both very very excited about them. I have a lovely scarf coming!! And we both have mugs!! It is all very pretty, and if the stuff gets here in time for Monday, we're going to have tea in our new mugs at Rainbows. =D
Right. I'm off. Away laughing on a fast camel.
