So when did someone sneak the whole "grown-up" thing on us??
So several things have happened recently to just turn my entire view of the world on it's head. It's... weird.
Sofie and Jane came up this weekend. It was great, I'd not seen Jane in six months! And not seen Sofie for a month. =S Anyway, we had pub dinner fun, posh lady supper fun, film fun then lazy fun today. They refused to get out of bed and demanded I bring them their dinner!! Hehe! It was sooo nice to see them though. I am going to be less crap at visiting people, I am going to get to Durham and Brum at some point! (And Morley, I'd forgotten about that one, before you say anything, Fi!). Anyway, we realised that the whole grown-up thing has been snuck upon us with very little warning. Inside, I feel like I'm still 18, outside though, I'm meant to worry about paying council tax and being a responsible member of the community or some similar shit. Thanks world, thanks alot.
(I may just have used a Dirty Dancing quote to console someone who's been dumped. Does that make me a bad person??)
In other news, I went to concert band again last week. It's still really hard, but it has given me a new appreciation for the music of Billy Joel. We are playing a medlay. The conductor wants us to record it for a CD. Oh God. Also, someone there thought I was 16. Oh God. =S
I have to go to work tomorrow. Not cool. No Kat. Busy wards. Sad Alice. It's also started snowing. It's going to snow more tomorrow. I might have to cancel Rainbows. Boo hiss.
Oh, it is quite late. I have to get up super early tomorrow. I'm going to go to bed. =S
