Copyright theft in the wild
I just discovered that a seller on Facebook of crappy cheap hurdy gurdies is using the audio from a video done by a YouTuber named Andrey Vinogradov. I recognized the song (Uzh Kak Po Mostu, Mostochiku. Hurdy-Gurdy Solo) immediately because I use it as one of many background music songs while writing, I must've listened to it 200 times in the last year. I double checked, comparing the audio of the two videos, and sure enough it's the exact same recording. This seller gave him no credit, just used the audio in their own video. With no indication that it was legit, I emailed him to inform him including a link to the sponsored ad.
