I can't sleep...just noticed the similarity between Fawkes's Theme and the Jurassic Park theme (was I under a rock? it's so obvious!). It preys on the mind. That John Williams, making me ponder these things in my state of incoherent uselessness. I wish I had a parallel processor to offload the work to so that I can go to sleep.

You know it's finally fall when you can't see the ground for the leaves. But of course it's really pretty and apparently it's the peak season for dying-leaves-watching in this area. Went to see the final day of the qualies yesterday. Once again, the weather was perfect and many more people stopped by to see the matches. I was watching this one match between an American and Croatian that had brought a lot of spectators.
