US Open (again)
Went to see the final day of the qualies yesterday. Once again, the weather was perfect and many more people stopped by to see the matches. I was watching this one match between an American and Croatian that had brought a lot of spectators. In the second set, the score was tied 6-6 and it was becoming a rather exciting tie-breaker when what should happen next but someone behind me whining that "I hope she wins (the Croatian), I want to see Shikha play next." How rude! Especially when you're so close to the court that the PLAYERS can hear you. How utterly disrespectful. I don't care who your favorite player is but you just don't open your mouth and let something like that fall out in that kind of place at that kind of time. I left soon after the matched had finished. The Croatian girl won by the way.
