Word has gotten back to me that there is confusion amongst my friends at Relay (my last job) as to why I haven't reapplied and gone back to work there. To clear it all up once and for all, I called Kathy, the HR person at Relay. The official word is this:
"anyone who is termnated for attendence issues is not eligible for rehire at all".
I can't come back.
Please, of you work at Relay and are reading this, don't take it personally. I'm not avoiding the place.
Also understand that I'm not somehow avoiding work that I can have with as simple a measure as re-applying. I can't come back there.
