Work sucked today. I mean really sucked. I haven't had a Monday this bad in a long time. I don't even really want to relive it by typing out what all went wrong. It just sucked.
There was one ray of hope, however. One of the guys I work with (Mike) is on vacation this week so today we started the process of redecorating his cubicle. The last time we did this, we posted a sign on our target's cubicle wall that said Extreme Makeover: Cubicle Edition. Well, I resurrected that idea and brought in Mary's video camera. I gathered a bunch of people from the department and did a bad Ty Pennington impression for a demolition video. The "demo" consisted of everyone taking everything (except the computer and monitors) out of Mike's cubicle. I brought the video home and finished adding in title screens and credits. Now I'm going to mail it to him and let him wonder what we have in store for him.
What do we have in store? Well, Mike's a hunter so we're going to turn his cubicle into a tree stand. I'll spare the details for now and post pictures when we are done.
The weekend was fairly good. There was some bike riding with Calliope and some work on the house. I also spent some time getting some bills paid. That's not fun, mind you, but at least it's productive. Oh, and Calliope and I "broke in" the basement. That was fun!
I really hope tomorrow is better at work.
