For the first time in my life, I saw a real body bag being wheeled into a truck not ten feet from me.
Really puts things in perspective. Passing that accident really sobered our moods and added triple the amount of tension. EDIT: here's an article about the accident.
Passed many cars on the side of the road, spun out, and saw one go into the ditch a few cars in front of us too.
Fortunately, Christian and I made it back safely from my grandma's house. It took double the usual amount of time (four hours). Waiting to hear from my parents still; my two older sisters arrived safely so far.
Had to dig into a parking spot at the apartment and also dig out Christian's car. I think we've gotten ten inches so far and more coming. Weather.com states 8-14 inches expected with areas up to 16.
Tomorrow we are supposed to start looking at houses. But I'm too concerned with figuring out how I'll get to work which should just be canceled due to driving conditions to be excited.
