These were taken just a little bit ago when I ran to get some milk from Walgreens. Our power has dipped a couple of times tonight so I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't actually go out. Back to the Future on the big screen today! I wanna go, but I'm teaching until 6:30 and it starts at 7pm :(

Today was a beautiful day in Madison! Sunny. Clear skies with little puffy clouds. Cool breeze. Warm weather, but not hot. Low humidity even! And I got to spend the majority of it outside! Yesterday, Abby and I went to a classic car show. It was fun! They had a bigger variety this year than last, and they tried to group some of the similar cars. The highlight of the trip was the 1967 Chevy Impala! It was a blue 2-door convertible, but it was still cool. They also had a lemon yellow Impala.

Do any of my Madison peeps want to go to the Classic Car show on State Street after coffee tomorrow? It goes from 10am until 3pm. It was lots of fun last year.

This is Library Week! The Center for Instructional Materials and Computing on campus is making READ! posters to celebrate. Sounds like fun, but I don't know what I would do in one.

I just got home. I left work at 2:40pm. Finally got a bus at about 4:45pm. In that amount of time 4 buses to take me home should have gone by. (Apparently many of of the buses were sliding off the road at the Capitol and on State Street.  All the campus buses got rerouted because they couldn't make it up Bascom Hill. )  My feet were pretty ( Read more... )
