Obligatory Travel Post
I've done a bunch of traveling over the last few weeks in between working. Here are some pictures I took along the way. (Not dial up friendly!) (You can right click->view image if you'd like to see these larger.)
There was a nice sunset when I got home on my birthday in December:
My flash went off on this one, but I still love the reflection of the sunset down in the river.
We saw a big group of deer near the river while I was home. They weren't scared of the cars at all.
I really like sunsets. This one is taking off from home to fly back to Wisconsin:
Chicago: We were moving pretty fast so these didn't turn out too well.
Madison at night:
I also like clouds, and took too many pictures of them on my trip to Texas.
St. Louis: If you look closely you can see the arch in between the clouds.
Texas: Brazos River and Granger Lake
Austin:
Cute store we drove past going from the airport towards downtown:
We passed lots of neat old houses too:
We had a really great view from our hotel room:

I continue to be unimpressed with Hilton Hotels, but they had some nice regional decor:
Around downtown Austin:
Texas State Capitol. It looks quite similar to the Capitol here in Madison, only it has a pink hue since it is made of pink granite.:
I like that she's holding a star and a sword.
No more traveling for a while now- just lots of work to be done.
