August Rush Icons

Jan 24, 2008 13:43

I promised these long ago didn't I? My excuse is I've been busy. Yep. The results of my poll about which icons people liked better were mixed, many people's preferences resulting in split decisions. I've left in some of the doubles, others I've removed. If you'd like to see the original post it is here.

August Rush is a great movie with an awesome soundtrack. I must say I am partial to movies with actors singing (this, Walk the Line, musicals,...). You should all see it! I'd never thought one way or the other about Keri Russell before this year, but I loved her in this and Waitress. (Another movie people should see if they haven't. - It's got Nathan Fillion in it. 'nuff said.) The entire cast is pretty spectacular - Jonathan Rhys Myers (Bend it Like Beckham, The Tudors), Freddie Highmore, Robbin Williams, Terrence Howard (Crash), and Alex O'Loughlin (Moonlight, The Invisible). (I'd have made an icon Alex except they didn't really show him in any of the previews.) Freddie plays the titular character, and he is amazing. *points to post icon* He's a great actor and is only 15. He's also going to play two roles in The Spiderwick Chronicles that will be released in a couple weeks. My sister originally discovered him when he was in Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp.
