Had to finagle around with my email client this morning. Microsoft depreciated the security I was originally using for my old Hotmail account and switched it strictly to OAuth2. Last couple of days, been getting multiple suspicious emails from someone named "Jess", mainly just saying "This is my email" or "Are you still around Westmonroe". Mark them as "Spam" but they keep appearing in my inbox. Not replying, because I'm positive it's a "trap" of some kind, so I just keep deleting them.

Methinks one of my relatives email might have been hacked. Got one this morning which had apparently been forwarded to everyone on her contact list. Only thing it contained was a link to a shady looking URL I had never heard of before ( Read more... )

WTF is this? Got a notice this morning in my "Informed Delivery" email from the postal service that a "package" is supposed to be arriving tomorrow, from some place called "Rapid Enterprises". I haven't ordered anything. I currently don't even have MONEY to order anything even if I wanted to!

Here I was thinking I hadn't gotten any email since yesterday. Checked the webmail interfaces of Yahoo, Outlook, and Gmail. Emails were there. Found the missing emails (63 total) in the "Junk" folder in Thunderbird. For some reason, the email client sent EVERY email since yesterday to that folder. Riiiiight.... This was in my email this morning. I got rid of Netflix over three years ago and did not use the Gmail address back when I signed up for it. Marked it as "Spam" and deleted it.

Ugh. Just got three emails in a row in Gmail meant for someone else. They were notifications from the "Indeed" job search website for an Albert Rodrigez in Temecula, CA.
