Yes, I've been "quiet" here today, even though I've been at the desktop all day. Last night, the eight year old HP tower decided to take a MAJOR dump, and wouldn't even power on.

So, I had to dive into my VERY meager savings and purchase a new desktop PC. I spent most of the day setting it up, installing all my programs, configuring my old ( Read more... )

Ugh, what a day! Earlier, I was sitting at my desktop, and suddenly the tower made a loud "pop", then stopped working. Wouldn't power on. Deader than a doornail. Did some online research using the old laptop, determined the power supply was a goner ( Read more... )

This morning, I threw away a ton of paper from my desk. Most was index cards with website passwords on them. There were lots of cards with now defunct websites, and websites I never returned to after signing up. Heck, the card with "Jennicam" was still in that box!
