While watching an episode of "Moonlighting", I'm transferring the digitized audio cassette and LP transfers from my desktop hard drive to a THIRD external hard drive. This evening, just finished digitizing two more of the old "pretend radio shows" my friends and I made in the 1980's. Transferring the old "fake radio shows" my friends and I made in the 1980's, the earliest ones recorded on cheap mono cassette recorders, I've noticed it's a "fine balance" for me, meaning I want them to sound good, but also want to preserve the crude sound quality they had originally, for nostalgia sake. Just went into the closet and retrieved the "broadcast copies" on audio cassette of the first four episodes of my friends and I's fake radio shows of "Randy Haney's Life of Elvis" from 1981 to digitally re-transfer, since the CD-R copies I made in the late 90's no longer play properly. Been through all the boxes in the closet, can't find the "broadcast edited" version of the first "Randy Haney Comedy Hour". Want to digitally retransfer it since getting the USB cassette deck, since the CD-R I made on the Philips CD recorder back around 1998 has failed... may have to use the "master tape" and re-edit as close as possible to the ( Read more... )
