Episode 234 was the first episode of the third season. As mentioned in a previously posted progress report, this was the first season where a "serious" attempt was made at a weekly "broadcast schedule", except in this case, various series were rotated bi-weekly.This season was also a bit heavier on "repeats" of episodes from the previous two seasons. The repeats aren't listed here, since the original "airings" were documented in earlier posts for their original "broadcast", and those don't need digitizing a second time. There was a snag for the four part Tape and Record Show "broadcast" of "The Harlem Globetrotters On Gilligan's Island" however. The original off-air audio cassettes of the TV movie were nowhere to be found in the TRSE archives, so I had to improvise and find an "alternate source" to recreate the episodes. Luckily, for some episodes, I can improvise for recreation, since I have the "broadcasts" documented on index cards from back in the day.

"The Elvis Presley Show" was an announceless (is that a word?) show which just played random songs by Elvis, and audio tracks from his movies. It alternated with "Randy Haney's Life of Elvis" on the schedule. I won't have to digitize the "Life of Elvis" shows for season three of "The Tape and Record Show" however, since I already digitized all of them earlier, because Randy's show eventually became its own spin-off series, and has its own digital computer file folder.
