Looking back at my journal entries of about 10 years ago...
- We go to the Metro centre in Gateshead near Newcastle... It's apparently the largest shopping mall in Europe... got most of our Xmas shopping done there.
- Coronation Street (TV show) recently celebrates its 40th anniversary... so I have info in my journal about the show, because we watch it religiously.
- Al Gore officially concedes the disputed U.S. presidential election on Dec 13th...
- We go to a panto (Cinderella) in Carlisle after attending a timeshare talk in the Keswick area to get a free holiday.
