Writing Update - August
I had a reasonably productive month, considering that I also worked on non-writing projects.
PU1 Therewith Instantly: Only 360 words. I'm not sure what it is about this chapter -- I'm not blocked, I just find it difficult to write. Must try harder.
PU2 has now been split into two -- the original very large chapter one has now been split into subchapters and will be a separate novella of around 35-40,000 words, retaining the title Despite Reason. With any luck I'll be able to post that by the end of the year. The remaining three chapters and the epilogue, which are still much shorter at present, will become the third and final volume in the Cas/Dean novel and will be titled Manifest Reason (and yes, I did find another Robert Graves quotation for it). I managed 8400 words and am fairly happy with how this is going.
I also did 1620 words in various short fics, bringing the total to 10380.
Apart from that, it's been a quiet month. I've been catching up on old SPN fanfics, trying to clear the backlog in my "unread" folder before downloading all the new stuff. I'm also catching up on S12 ready for the S13 disc release later this month.
I haven't logged in to WoW for a while -- I was hoping to do the pre-expansion quests but was too busy. I'd love to dive back into the game but I just don't have enough time.
