Writing Update for July
It's so long since I've been able to post one of these ... I'll have to try and keep the momentum up (especially with the new WoW expansion coming in a fortnight). I even managed to get my other project done in time too.
So, I didn't actually finish anything in July, but then I didn't expect to. I did, however, write quite a bit.
PU1 (Therewith Instantly): 2485 words, all in that final chapter I've been working on for three years -- but the end is in sight. Another 3,000 words or so and I should be done.
PU3 (Despite Reason): 9507 words, mostly in the first chapter (which is now almost 25,000 words and will definitely have to be split). No end in sight here but the pathway is becoming much clearer now I've tweaked the timeline of events to better reflect the emotional journey. I suspect it's going to end up at 70K or more -- I knew from the start that it was going to be novel length rather than novella length, but it seems to be growing like Topsy.
I also added 1500 words to a couple of short pieces, giving me a grand total of 13,500 for the month -- which is my largest monthly total since April 2014. Go me!
