Fixit Big Bang

There is nothing quite like the smug satisfaction one gains from finding a challenge that suits a story already half-written ... I have signed up for the Fixit Big Bang which gives me until February next year to finish my Vegas fix-it fic. It's already well over the minimum (but the minimum is only 7000 words, so I think that calling it a "Big Bang" is stretching the concept to breaking point) and the first part, which can stand on its own, is about 80-85% done.
