(no subject)
I promised myself I wouldn't write anything unless I had something positive to write, and I guess that tells you enough what kind of feelings I've had lately... Not all of it has been bad or negative, I just have been very moody and tired so no updates. >.<
I'm leaving for Mauritius tomorrow morning and at the moment packing is just beyond me.... Though packing has always been the hardest part of any trip for me, no matter how much I had waited for the trip. :P
I guess I shouldn't even need that much on an tropical island, do I?
I hope you all had a joyful and peaceful Christmas (or whatever holiday you might have been celebrating) and that you all have a wonderful next year too. I didn't get much in the way of presents (compared to usual that is, I guess for most people my "haul" would be plenty enough), a silk scarf from Miika, some kitchen stuff from Joanna and a bag and some cosmetics (including a bottle of perfume) from my mother. My father bought me the plain tickets, so that's well enough in itself. :D This year I mostly gave stuff I had made myself, they're all up at Ravelry, in case you want to take a look (you might need to register first, I think, but if you're at all knitter/crocheter the site is definitely worth the trouble).
Anyway, I'd better get back to packing as we're leaving very early tomorrow morning... I'll definitely will be taking pictures, so I'll be posting them when I get back. Until then, I hope you all have a great New Year's Eve and excellent new year 2010 altogether! :)
