I'm having a quiet Christmas at home. Missing my friends and family and especially my grandmother. Yesterday I took the bun for a walk and found a seemingly abandoned prickly pear cactus plant covered in tuna. turns out, baking is chemistry. adding more of everything doesn't make great bread. it just makes a great big mess. so if the recipe calls for 1/2 cup of shredded carrots - don't add 3 cups of shredded everything...unless you are just making baked dog food.

planted six trees
made carrot, melon, peach bread from the juicer grindings
upacked 8 boxes
made more thank you cards. :)

so today, we:
cleaned the house,
explored the backyard and lot next door
made SUSHI
and JUICED everything we could find.

must....juice...more...items.
