It's Christmas!
I'm having a quiet Christmas at home. Missing my friends and family and especially my grandmother. Yesterday I took the bun for a walk and found a seemingly abandoned prickly pear cactus plant covered in tuna. Am going to go on a gathering expedition and try my hand at juicing some of them next week.
Things I am sort of failing at for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...being motivated to finish wrapping presents, replying to any of the many awesome Christmas cards I have received, making food. It's the least motivated I have been in a really long time.
Things I am awesome at for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...taking a bath, washing some clothes, and tearing through 1) The Handmaid's Tale, 2) Pirate Latitudes, and 3) the first 100 pages of Nine Kinds of Naked...also napping. I dragged myself out of Nine Kinds to wrap RJ's presents and set up the fireplace so we can open presents by the fire when he gets home, and hopefully stay up late playing Deathspank, the Baconing.
