Harry was holding two Nutcracker soldiers in his hands, trying to decide which one he would give Molly for Christmas. He nodded to himself as if agreeing with his own decision, and placed the left one back on the shelf.
As he turned around he looked up and locked eyes with Malfoy who was standing next to Narcissa.
“Potter,” Malfoy nodded.
“Malfoy,” Harry said doing the same. Narcissa turned around, and smiled at him.
“Harry! Have you been well? Doing some Christmas shopping I see.”
“I’m fine, Narcissa. And yes, I still had to buy a little something for Molly,” he said warmly.
“You aren’t planning on giving her that are you?” Malfoy said with a sneer, gesturing to the Nutcracker soldier.
Harry looked down at the soldier in his hands. “What’s wrong with it?”
“What’s wrong with it? What’s wrong with it?” Malfoy sputtered. “Have you looked at the damned thing! It’s creepy, bordering on downright terrifying! Just looking at it gives me nightmares!”
“Draco, be nice,” Narcissa said sharply.
She then turned to Harry again, and gently squeezed his arm. “Harry, dear. Why don’t I help you pick something nice?”
