Actually, I agree with Hugh.

It's getting very tiresome for people to assume that gamers are social mendicants who can't lead a normal life or have meaningful opinions.

To me, such a stereotype is just as offensive as any based on racial or religious lines.

Okay, and again these things don't apply to you so why take offense? Like I said I was just curious.

Also... I know alot of gamers WHO ARE THOSE TYPES. Men/women who hide in their world of make beleive and criticize everything and everybody else.

So I say instead of getting angry at this guy whose experience is that stereotype start yelling at those who use the game as a way of escaping the world and give the "good" gamers, myself included, a bad rap.

But I realize my oppinion is not wanted nor is it appreciated so I'll shut up.

I know quite a few PnP players, who also happen to be currently serving in the US armed forces, who would take a lot of offense at that statement ( ... )

Then I am a troll.

Because I don't think that anyone should take offense to a comment based on one persons experience. Especially if they don't resemble that comment.

People who take offense to something usually take offense because on some level they beleive it themselves.

From now on I will hold my comments to myself because no one wants to hear another persons view point if it doesn't match their own.
