Not at all. We are all entitled to voice our thoughts. That is what makes us a community. I welcome yours as much as anyone on my friends list.

We are never guaranteed to see eye to eye on every topic, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have discourse anyway.

Back to the components of the original posters statement; The part that people would find offensive are the social groups that he chose to target.

If you choose to include any static social groups in a statement to your peers, then you almost certainly have to be prepared to take flak from those peers for making them the target of your stereotype.

Because he chose to use a stereotype to define people, and then further define what those type of people are libel to think, it shows that he is attempting to evoke an emotional response from his readers who may be classed as the stereotype, or even if only part of the stereotype.

If I said that all Muslims who drive taxis in New York are smelly turban wearing retards, then I've not only classed Muslims as the subject of my insult, but I've also included residents of New York and taxi drivers.

That may not be what was intended, but it is how the statement reads to me. They have lumped several possible groups into one large insult. General mayhem is almost certainly guaranteed in those conditions.
