scissoring is when the top spreads his fingers whilst fingering or stretching, it can actually split the sphincter and it does not exist outside of fanfic, i can sort of understand where it came from but it's like the worst trope ever, because in no way is it attractive, and it would hurt both of them (you put your fingers in an elastic band and spread them)
