i walked away at that point
I didn't have to continue explaining it because everyone else did, she went from having six comments to like six hundred over night and they all said the same thing - you have to say it because a lot of people won't be the first, or the author might genuinely not know and some will go, my bad and fix it, (I treat concrit like that but apparently I'm unique like that) but she pulled the story the next day
i don't mind bdsm fics, i just wish they'd understand it, I've had this conversation with Xanthe and Manna too, who I hold almost responsible because they did it well so they are imitated by idiots.
Someone has to speak out, between that and my vendetta against scissoring (seriously, that will put you in the hospital!) I might have a bit of a reputation for being a bitch

I'm currently doing a FMA RP that has some pretty heave BDSM overtones to it and the fact the Dom IS taking the time to listen to his sub, they have a safe word and there is communication is what makes it so hot and fun :)
I'm with you. I LOVE a good BDSM fic. The problem is they often are DREADFUL with no understanding of the subject matter.
Do you have some recs? I found one that I've been passing out cuz it was lovely (and the author's notes were a nice bonus).
