NK and I kicked off our Advent tonight by watching "It's a Wonderful Life."

Now, I hadn't seen the film before. I know! I'm clearly wrong in the head (he definitely thought so) and NK was determined that it would be the first one we watched on the run up to Yule.

And, ok, I'm so VERY late to the party but, ( I LOVED IT! (Spoilers - if it matters for a film made in 1946) )

So over the weekend I watched The Fantastic Mr Fox. And in general, I thought it was really good. I loved the ye-olde feel to the animation, I loved the humour of the physicality and just. Yeah. It was pretty cool.

A lot of that was, however, for me, over-ridden by some issues I had with the stereotyping.

Yesterday was a Busy Day. We (me, Jac, Richard, fairylaura and Claire) went to see Hot Fuzz. It was genius. Fucking hilarious! Plus, because we went for the matinee showing at 11am there was us about about 5 other people. However, Claire laughs? Very. Loud.
