I don't know what it is, but there is something divine in this combination. These things just work together in an explosion of flavor which you don't suspect. Or I don't suspect.
Divine Raw Veggie Sandwich
Take two slices of bread (I use a honey wheat) and then pile on the following:
Guacamole (mostly avocado and a little salsa. I didn't make my own)
Onion slices
Cucumber (I used about 1/3 of the cucumber, I'd use less. 6 slices at most)
Sliced mushrooms
Orange Bell Pepper (about 1/4 of a full, large pepper)
Mozzarella cheese
Dijon mustard
It's huge and unwieldy and kinda messy but damn it's good. If you like veggie sandwiches.
I totally want to make
mashed potato ghosts now! And veggie-loaf.
Although I'm trying to use fake meat things, if possible I want to drift away from them because heavily processed is just as undesirable to me as heavily processed meat. There's the fugus crumbles and the soy crumbles but I want to learn to do my own so they feel less...packagedy. Mostly I just want to be able to make meatless meatballs and meatloaves without the beans freaking disintegrating. So I might try making my own soy crumble things. We'll see.
