Garden update
Back in April, I started my balcony garden. I planted parsley, basil, tomatoes, lavender, sweet peas, lettuce, and baby bell peppers. The sweet peas were gorgeous till about July, when it got too hot. Also, they got mildewy. My lavender is finally flourishing. The lettuce comes and goes. I had a bumper crop till middle of July, then it got attacked by worms.
Tomatoes should be doing great... I had a bought of hornworms a month or so ago that went unnoticed. I've had maybe 5 tomatoes so far? I see lots of flowers forming on my two plants right now. Perhaps I am in for more! I have tons of baby bell peppers growing- they just need to ripen.
Herbs are great! My basil, especially, smells so good!!
For "fall," I am adding oregano, marigolds, baby carrots, french petit dejeuner radishes, and more lettuce. I just started seeds today. I may also try those sweet peas again, this time indoors.
