RAIN SUCKS AND IS A WEEKEND RUINER
Well, this weekend didn't exactly go as planned. My parents and siblings were supposed to go to Moncton for my brother's baseball tournament, except it got cancelled because of the rain. So I didn't get the house to myself for the weekend. I was so disappointed. Instead, I worked until 3 on Saturday, then took the bus to Burger King to meet Devin. We went to his House and hung out for a bit and then I went home. Today I slept in and my sister woke me up at 11 asking if I wanted her to make me some bacon and eggs. I said yes, and went upstairs to help. So I dined with my sister and then we hung out in my room for a bit. Then I had to go to a BBQ at my aunt and uncle's house. It was kind of boring, but the steak was amazing.
In other news, tentitive plans for the first road trip of the season have been laid out. Devin, Bryan, Taryn and myself are going to the festival of lights in PEI on Canada Day weekend. Some sweet bands, The Tragically Hip, Joel Plaskett, Matt Mays and El Torpedo, Sam Roberts, Hedley, Theory of a Deadman and 3 Days Grace. June 30-July 3. Just trying to straighten things out with the campground and we are all set for non-stop good time party fun. Of course I haven't had my "vacation request form" approved from work yet. Apparently it is company policy to fill out the form if you need more than three days off. I spoke with my manager and she said it shouldn't be a problem. If she says no now, I will be SO pissed.
Well my parents are contemplating getting rid of my dog. As psychotic, and retarded as my dog is, I have grown attached to her. Tonight she even saved me from a huge June bug that got in the house. She was playing with it for about 15 minutes after she caught it. She would pick it up in her mouth and throw it in the air and bat it accross the floor. It was mildly entertaining, but also very gross because i hat June bugs. Mom also said that if we got rid of her we aren;t getting another dog. I would rather have a half crazy dog than no dog at all. I think I am going to have to keep her out of moms way for a bit and then maybe we can keep her.
