Am alive, but it feels only just. Have been an holiday and had flu, one of which was awesome, I'll leave it to you to guess which :P
Tonight I went to a radio play at the BBC radio place off'f Oxford Street, which was HILARIOUS. It's called Child's Play and our episode (I think the first episode, but perhaps not) airs on the 29th September at 11pm. Awesomely, it has
Olivia Colman in it (making tonight the second time I've seen her in the flesh, after walking past her on London Bridge once) and a lot of other cool people.
It was mainly awesome because I'd never seen a radio play before an audience before - I saw Two Pints filmed last year, but that's TV, and I've sat in a recorded interview, but no audience. Education is awesome!
Anyway, I went with my brother Sam, who is stick thin but could eat for a small country, and after the after-radio-play-drinks we fancied some fish and chips:
We enter the fish and chip shop talking about sausages.
Lady behind Counter: Sorry, we just closed. Ten o'clock.
Me: But I want chips!
Sam: It's okay, we'll just go to Pizza Hut.
Me: But I want chii-iips! Wah!
Lady: You want chips? I can get you some chips!
Me: Awesome yeah thank you omg please!
Lady: And sausage?
Me: Yes please!
Lady: *hands us a HUGE box full of left-over chips and sausage; five sausages and at least two portions of chips*
Me and Sam: *gape*
Lady: You can have that for four pounds!
Me: *throwing money at her* OMGTHX! You have saved our evening! WAHEY!
And there goes the diet. I let Sam have three of the sausages and most of the chips and then bought him some pizza anyway, because I am a good sister and besides, owed him for the drinks. We ate while sauntering down Oxford Street feeling proud of ourselves :D
I wrote some Being Human fic, but it needs a lot of work. It's also probably not the sort of thing anyone would want to read, so I'm not sure if I'll bother polishing it...
(Oh, I also joined fanfiction.net. Didn't I mention that?)
