Cindy and I went to the Food & Wine festival at Epcot a few weeks ago. We had a really good time w/ Alan and Elf. The Canadian beer cheese soup was my favorite meal and Chile's Alpha Syrah was my favorite wine.
Cindy and I also went to an Obama rally in town. The First Lady to be, Michelle, was the main speaker. I made short jokes with a teenage lesbian couple standing near us. I didn't realize they were gay until they started cheering at the mention of GLBT support for Barack Obama; I guess they weren't necessarily gay, but usually homos cheer for homo stuff, not supporters. Anyway, I amused them so much that when one girl started muscling her way closer through gaps in the crowd, she pulled me along w/ her. We had a pretty good time, especially after we got close enough to stand in the shade. The only bad part is that we were very close to the speakers, and I don't like loud noises.
About a week after that, Cindy, Rowan, and I went to our friend, Luongo's house, for a returns party. Cindy and I were surprised but pleased by Barack's clear victory. We all approved of John McCain's acknowledgment of defeat speech. The only damper to Barack Obama's victory is the fact that anti-gay amendments are being passed in many states, including California.
Fast-forward to today: I got my fourth shot of testosterone. Cindy said some of the testosterone came out of my injection this time, which hasn't happened before. I said I had heard of that happening to other guys, and I didn't think it was a problem. My voice is noticeably deeper from the voice recordings I've been taking, but it hasn't changed much from shot #2. The deepening has been taking a natural progression, I guess, b/c nobody seems to notice that it's deeper. In fact, I called my parents tonight and they didn't notice. I also spoke to my aunt, and she didn't seem to notice, either. I think my voice will still get deeper than what it is, though, judging from listening to other men's voice clips. I had to shave my upper lip because it was getting noticeably hairier. I was neglectful about going to the gym last week and only made it once. We went today, as usual, though, and I was able to do my first pull-up in years! I'm getting stronger all the time, and it feels good. About my chest: I can still feel the dissolvable stitches underneath my skin's surface. In fact, Cindy and I suspect that some of the stitches are trying to poke through again. My chest is still sensitive to the touch--mainly when I am not expecting the touch. Cindy accidentally dropped her book on my chest the other night and it startled me. I am not sure if what I am feeling is protective pain sensation or extra skin sensitivity regarding my chest area.
