I almost got killed on the Cambie St. Bridge this afternoon because I missed the turnoff on my bike and went into the auto lane. X__x When fifty cars are coming at you at 90km/h, you know you made a mistake...
And advice for my friends in the Vancouver area: NEVER NEVER NEVER take your bike on the Skytrain, EVER. It is HELL. Especially when the tracks are suddenly closed for maintenance (hence why I was speeding on the wrong lane down the Cambie Bridge--downtown Vancouver is virtually inaccessible by Skytrain until the maintenance finishes, so I had to take the long way into town, but still took the Skytrain home because I didn't want to die in traffic X___x). Bike + Skytrain = BAD, BAD IDEA.
(But I got the cheap Nickelback CD I biked all the way downtown and risked my life on the road for, so I'm happy. =D)
