I've moved out west. It's all farms, oil fields, and fighter jets out here. Missing my family, but I'll see them in Sept! It's a shame it costs so much to fly back to the east coast. I wish I was there right now. Don't worry, we'll be back before you know it. -
Productivity
Basement bathroom renos will be done this week. Just have to grout the floor and seal the shower. Can't wait for it to be over at last! (then I can do the upstairs bathroom. Bahaha ( Read more... ) -

In the past week I've become very domestic. I'm finding it hard to keep myself occupied with the internet & TV and have taken to cooking & cleaning instead. I've produced pretty nice chicken meatballs and panna cotta. After watching marathons of Jane Austin movies I've realized why these women had so many children. a real nightmare
I generally have to listen to the people next door when I sleep. It's rowhousing so I hear the occasional word, or the tv. Last night I heard music; loud music. And around midnight they went out on the back deck to talk loudly and drunkenly in French. I tried to ignore it and went to sleep. I've been watching Netflix all morning and just realized I've probably;y soaked up gigs of bandwidth. But it's just so much easier to watch shows there then waiting to download them. It's so convenient!
I am also jumping out of my skin waiting for emails. Has the internet gone down somewhere, or is there a magic reason no one has returned my ( Read more... ) -

I had the whole day off today. I got to sleep in, go to my appointments, head to work when I wanted, and finish off my business in the afternoon. I don't know what I'm going to do in NB when I get there, but I think I really need the few days to get things in order, wander around, and figure out what it'll be like in my new home. OMG! Best Valentine's weekend EVER! I got TOTALLY spoiled. Apparently I was supposed to sit back and enjoy and I "don't know anything about chivalry and gentlemanliness" but I'm just not used to all this affection smothering. I think I could get use to it though. :D -
