Halloween film countdown number 4
Surprislingly good film watched last night. Eden Lake as suggested by Nicky - Nice one lady :)
Surprisingly British too. I don't know why, but I if there's to be teenagers and a romantic couple away for the weekend, and a whole "lost in the woods" scenario, I kind of assume it's going to be American. I think it's this exact Britishness which sets it apart from a lot of it's type. I *know* kids like that!
Supberb acting from the cast of horrible horrible youths (a lot of whom I recognised from a couple of Shane Meadows films) as well as the two leads. The whole thing felt very believeable. Highly recommended.

Also, I'm really enjoying doing this. I think most of the enjoyment of a good horror film come from the suspense, and so asking people to suggest films that I've not seen before is really working. Please keep them coming. There's a prize at the end for the person who suggests the film that scared me most \o/
