Cheating death again,
Poison clears out of my veins;
God has a purpose.

I had just drank a rather large cup of Sage tea without thinking about it, and I'm allergic to sage.

Joy shifts into pain,
My senses can't keep focus.
Your silence hurts me.

A commentary on being alone.

Lord, thy will be done.
Yet why are my desires
Still so far away?

Talking about unmet needs.

Two squirrels playing,
Jumping across the treetops.
Freedom, joyousness.

Warm tea and close friends
Are truly one and the same:
Both uplift the soul.

(I was drinking green tea and being encouraged by a good friend, as life's been crap lately and I've needed both.)

Soft rain gently pours,
Caressing melancholy
and hiding my tears.

I spat that out just now, I thought it kinda expressed my feelings on rain and how I've been feeling today.

Large explosions.

Sign that The Duck is very close.

See, I can write poetry too. Further proof that I'm able to do darn near everything. I'm not cocky, it's just further proof that God is really in control. Whouldathunkit?
