Aww, poor Deki. He's very good at the whole suffering thing, though, but I suppose it's only slightly different from the normal emo?

(And I really don't mind not having watched this match, apart from the whole thing where it was boring - obviously, there was too much Swede, and not enough Figo.)

I find Amauri inexplicably attractive. That can't be right, can it?

I'm worried about Deki's emotional state -- he was such a mess just from sucking, imagine how he'll react to not being able to play.

(There's no such thing as too much Swede, but I'm with you on point B. I'm hoping he wasn't used because he's going to play the whole game tomorrow, against terrifying Genoa.)

I'M ROLLING MY EYES. Ruby will tell you it's only natural to find him devastatingly attractive. Me, I don't see it -- I can't get past his awful hair and expression of "Eh?".

You do have a point there - but surely Inter will get someone to hold his hand now?

(If only for the sake of the pictures, I do hope Figo plays tomorrow as well. And any amount of Swede is too much.)

I don't know what's wrong with me. I shouldn't be able to get past the awful hair, but suddenly he just looks strangely appealing to me.

1)No comment on Amauri -- like I said to Sofia, I don't get the love.
1.5)I find I really like saggy socks, though. And saggy socks + tiny shin guards = &hearts It just screams old school. (As the games go on, sometimes Cordoda ends up in that box. And Rui Costa is aaaaalways working the saggy socks.)
2)I like him so much better all eager and confident, but the emo is coming in such intensity these days that I can't help but embrace it.
3)Me. Too. And I love the white shorts. (Not just because I have them and treadmill in them every day. Which I do. The shorts, not the socks. God but it would be AWESOME if I treadmilled in the socks. Hmm.)
4)Focus on his pretty eyes and perfect teeth. It helps me.
5)Agreed.
6)That's just crazy talk.
7)You and razor2rosary and your ear obsession. Bwahahahahhahahaa! I don't get it at all, but it cracks me up. (And your icon is fantastic ( ... )

We are SO bizarro version of one another -- Cuchu's noises are what made me love him once and for all. I had no idea he was such a goofball, he cracks me up. (I actually played them for a friend of mine who teaches Spanish to make sure they weren't actually words. He was like "Um ... those are just ... noises."

And no one has ever died of saggy socks, I'm sure of it. *grin*

Also: Serb-fondling, not that gross. And I'm fully in favor of more Serb body-part icons. Yes indeedy.

I know nothing about Zanetti, why doesn't he get mentioned more? I think he's a bit beautiful?

Really, I don't think you'll find anyone who doesn't think Zanetti is perfect (even Milan fans will admit it). He's truly pure class -- been with Inter forever as captain and team dad, is about to set the record for most appearances ever in the Argie nation team (which is a story in and of itself -- he was left off their WC2006 team and just kept his head down and kept working, and now he's back and captain), runs a charity in Argentina, etc etc etc. And I agree totally, he's gorgeous, albeit in a very distant way -- I feel a bit dirty even thinking about being attracted to someone so flawless.

Ahhh. Thank you for explaining it to me. I was curious as to why he didn't seem to attract so much exuberant fannish enthusiasm as Deki, Zlatan, Figo etc. But I guess its just taken as given. I don't mean to hustle you for information, but I'd really like to know more do you know if there is an informative post somewhere?

I'll poke around and see if I can find something. In the meantime, if you can stand it, I think watching the Pazza Inter backstage video gives such a great sense of Zanetti's place in the team, and his relationships with everyone. Everything is just utter chaos until he comes in, and he organizes EVERYTHING -- figures out who sings what, coaches people through their parts, etc -- but he's also totally relaxed and having a great time, goofing around like everyone else. (In the actual video you can see the goofing, and hear him cuing everyone to come in.) Really, he's one a million, it's so hard to find that balance, you know?

What is it with this man and his food analogies?! First yogurt and now a pumpkin? It's because it's Halloween, isn't it?

(Yeah I just wanted to bug you about his restaurant.)
