OMG you guys, if you want to do yourselves a favor, go and see Lars and the Real Girl. One of the sweetest, most awesome movies I've seen in forever. The script is stellar, the acting is layered and wise, and Ryan Gosling is just marking time till he gets an Oscar for something, so he's always worth watching. I think this review over at RottenTomatoes.com says it well:What's remarkable about Lars and the Real Girl is the tightrope that [screenwriter Nancy] Oliver finesses, aided by her director and winning cast, between improbability and reality, edgy absurdist humor and melting tenderness. It's a tonic.
